Melinda Rodriguez P.T., DP

Melinda Rodriguez is one of the founders of Access Quality Therapy Services (AQTS), a specialized home health and outpatient rehabilitation agency focused on the treatment of neurological and orthopedic conditions based in San Antonio, Texas and was a subsidiary of Chenega Corporation. She is currently the Senior Executive Director of Business Development of AQTS Home Health and the Business Development Executive of Holy Savior Hospice . She is a graduate of the Doctor of Physical Therapy program from Boston University, 2006 and a 1990 graduate of the University of Santo Tomas, Manila, Philippines, and Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. In 2001, she developed the Parkinson’s Outreach Program, a comprehensive outpatient rehabilitation program for people diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, Essential Tremors, Stroke and other complex neurological movement disorders.

She served as a board member of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and remains to be a board member of the Alamo Asian American Chamber of Commerce,Philippine Committee co chair. She is currently a co-chair of the San Antonio,Texas - Baguio City Philippines Sister City Taskforce as appointed by Mayor Ron Nirenberg.

Melinda Rodriguez served on the board of directors of several- non profit groups such as the Alamo Area Parkinson’s Support Group, APDA South Texas Chapter until 2001 to 2009, and is a professional advisory member of numerous organizations. Melinda also served as the president of the Alamo Asian American Chamber of Commerce 2010-2014. She was selected to be a part of Leadership San Antonio (LSA) Class 34 in January 2009. Governor Abbott just recently reappointed her to be a member of the Statewide Health Coordinating Council where she has served since 2018. She was the President of SA 100 2016-2018.

Melinda has also played crucial roles in San Antonio!s delegation to Shanghai World Expo, San Antonio's Fitness Council, Melinda was selected as one of San Antonio’s top entrepreneurs under 40 by the San Antonio business community and was awarded the “Rising Star Award: 40 under 40” for 2005. Melinda likes to travel with her family . She is married to Rob Rodriguez, a commercial real estate broker, and they have 3 children , daughter Megan ,a Nuclear Engineer Robbie a Bioinformatics Premed Student at St Mary’s University and Diego , sophomore at Central Catholic High School.
