A Tribute to Dr Carey Latimore IV

♥️ August 2, 2022: Attended a celebration of life memorial for a PACC-CTR colleague and good friend, Dr Carey Latimore IV. His wife Almie (Pacheco) is a WarayWaray. Very nice couple and good friends of mine here in San Antonio and the Chamber.

Really anguished with his passing, as we are busy planning for a huge event on October 21st, for PACC-CTR’s 2nd TOFSA Gala and Baguio City and San Antonio Friendship City MOU Signing.

Dr. Carey appointed me as the TOFSA Chair. He was the Chairman for Programs of PACC-CTR. We were just having a committee meeting the day before he passed. He was only 46. He was an icon here in San Antonio, a civic and community leader.

The memorial yesterday was well attended with Mayor Ron Nirenberg present. He’s a very good friend of the couple too.
His remains is being flown today to Virginia where he will be laid to rest next to his Mom on Friday, August 5th.
This past week was really devastating for me. Attended to Almie right away after he passed… on her side all this time. I’m very close to them… very good friends at that. He will truly be missed!

May Carey’s soul Rest In Peace. Amen. 🙏
